The Air France-KLM cargo & Martinair Cargo Animal Hotel at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol is the world's largest and most modern facility, designed especially for animals in transit. It is the only one in the world operated by an airline, which means that you can trust your animals to us in the knowledge that they will remain in our hands at all time.
At the Animal Hotel all animals can eat, drink, exercise and rest to break up a long journey. In comfortable surroundings they are being cared for by qualified and specially trained Animal Attendants. It meets and even exceeds all the high European standards in quality and hygiene.
In this respect we are also proud to mention that the Animal Hotel is qualified according to ISO 9002, the most prestigious recognition of industrial quality in Europe. Moreover, we even have our own quarantine station which meets the high European standards in quality and hygiene. Besides, at all times a veterinarian is on call to assist when necessary.
The Animal Hotel is fully operational 24 hours a day.

Taking care of animals requires knowledge and dedication. Therefore, all our staff at the Animal Hotel have followed a specialized training program. This includes training at the School of Veterinary Medicine, an internship with a Veterinary Surgeon, lectures of Veterinary Inspection Authorities and training at the Amsterdam Zoo Artis.
Besides that, our Animal Attendants personally care for all the animals as if they were their own. The animals need that kind of caring attention to feel more comfortable in unfamiliar surroundings and we see to that. This includes our dog-walking service, which is unique in the airline business!
