The McDonnell Douglas MD-11 is a three engined long-haul jetliner which has a 12,000 km range. KLM has 10 MD-11’s in her fleet.
MD-11 aircraft have palletized lowerdeck-holds forward as well as a rear bulk hold. The MD-11 is equipped with wide doors in the forward and rear hold for loading a line of pallets and/or LD3 containers.
